Every year we search the Napa Valley for the best fruit we can find to bring you a Smokescreen cabernet that you can afford to drink at home on a Tuesday night or pour at dinner with friends on the weekend. Although primarily Cab, we blended in some Merlot and a touch of Malbec to add layers and elegance. This year our grapes came from Oakville, St Helena, Stags Leap, Rutherford, and Atlas Peak.

2016 Smokescreen Napa Valley Cabernet

  • From the 98-point 2016 vintage, our new Smokescreen Napa Valley Cabernet is a big, fruit forward wine. It is purple in color with tons of dark fruits, cocoa and graphite that leads to a long finish with bold textures.

It combines nuance and elegance while still showing a powerful side that you expect from a Napa cab. This wine is ready to drink now but will age well.
